Ah, but I wanted to actually give my opinion!

Either way, season 7 was one of the best seasons in my opinion. Season 6 had build up for a really good dynamic between both Glimglam and Trixie. Generally speaking, the episodes worked nicely, and the world building they performed with the pillars was great. They gave us a lot to chew on regarding ancient times and some hinting about equestria before Luna and Tia became the main forces to defend equestria previous to the nightmare moon incident.
And this season also had one of the most emotional episodes ever on the show: A perfect pear. The fandom had waited to meet AJ's parents for so long, and they finally delivered, leaving us with a good lesson all over as well and a tear jerker good feel in our chests.

Season 7 was the last good season in my opinion. The show raised high up before extinguishing in the train wreck season 8 resulted to be and giving us the middle finger with season's 9 finale.

A bit offtopic, but are you OP?
I noticed just a difference in the year.
