First I'd like to make it clear that, i dont mean the rabbids. I'm so glad that they seperated rayman and the rabbids now ^.^ I'm talking about...Rayman xD I loved rayman 2 and 3 I'm so glad that ubisoft is making rayman origins, it looks fun! This could most likely lead to a rayman 4. Anyways, have any of you played it? Or have it? i have 1, 2, and 3. I haven't even played 1 yet he he ^_^'' and plus, any of the other girls out there think rayman is cute? :3 *facepalm* I should explain what rayman is for people who dont know....but its hard to explain. i dont even know what rayman himself is supposed to be. A vegetable? i don't know XD if anyone knows what he is...
Rayman....I remember him. I played the first but I never made it past the world with the giant instruments and musical notes. Rayman 2 was awesome but I never got around to the third one. There was this weird Rayman game I had called "Rayman Arena" which I had tons of fun with (I love the Teensies). I can't wait for the new one to come out!
i have rayman 1 as an app on my 3ds,rayman 2 on 3ds,rayman 3 on xbox original and i hat the rabbids,(except the zombie ones from the old cancelled rayman 4 adverts) but rayman origins is gonna explain how rayman ones cutesy went to rayman 2s dark and gloomy,and reveal who mr dark is (HES A TEENSIE!!!!!!!!) warnung spoilers
I was suuuch a Rayman-fan when I was little I loved Rayman 1 and 2, though I never actually finished a game. One time I even went dressed like him to the lower school-carnival, wearing a purple t-shirt, boxing gloves and a fake nose. That won me the prize for the school's best costume. ^^ *glances smiling back over shoulder to look at medail* What is Rayman? Why, a Thingamajig of course!
Rayman 1 is brutally difficult, I'd definitely recommend it to a platformer enthusiast who likes a challenge Once you get to the land of music, playtime's over kiddies
I managed to come all the way to the land of office-articles! Damn, now I want to play that game again.
I loved the first Rayman game...it's the only one I've played....There was something just epic about the way the story was played out with Mr. Dark. Unfortunately, my game disk broke at the music level, so I've never cleared the game.....I need to find that now!
Rayman, Rayman... the videogame character people called "an unique design". ...Plok did it before Rayman. Rayman most likely is inspired by Plok. Anyways, Rayman, i did play a bit of the first, but never beat it. I didn't really have that much interest in it, though. I'd recommend it to people.
Ooh, I remember Rayman 1... that music world kicked the crap out of me... then when I beat it, I was like "THANK BLOODY CHRIST!"... and then I realized there's more to the game! I think the furthest I got without cheating was the scorpion boss or the stationary (books, pencils etc...) world, whichever of those is further. I then cheated to get to the later levels.... wow, just wow, they were hard o.o Rayman 2 was kinder to me. I managed to beat it, and get a fair bit completed, though I never did those races with the fairy. It wasn't until MUCH later that I realized you can't really win, it's based on your time.... that annoyed me >.>. Still, I enjoyed the game, even if parts were almost ridiculous. Rayman 3... I really liked Rayman 3, and not just the opening song (which I have downloaded, it's epic XD). The punch powers, the different gameplay, the recursive story (that ending cutscene made me laugh and groan at the same time). All in all I thought it an excellent game and can't wait for origins!
Ah the tune of rayman 1 level 1, and then there was that funny hornet thing and the mushrooms. Music world was what taught me never to run with sharp things, there were so many spikes in there! Couldnt grasp rayman 3.
I hated Land of Music. I loved the Rayman series back then when I played it on the PS1. I so-called beat the game...or probably died and gave up.
Ohh, Rayman... Good ol' times. The first part I played was Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Then I got Rayman 3: The Hoodlum Havoc (or "Zemsta Mroklumów" in Polish...) And later Raving Rabbids came into play - which I didn't like... Man, I miss those good times where you had that semi-open 3D world with some(what) nice (well, kinda) plot... I really miss that. Oh, and Rayman M - God, it was GENIUS! Was thinking about making something similar to it, but in Ponyverse instead... (Skyrim-esque character creation anyone?)
Rayman Origins was one of my highlights of 2011. The hand-drawn art style was sublime and the animation ran so smooth. I've never seen so much effort been put into a 2D platformer. A solid 9/10. Totally recommended. 10 out of 10 if it had online multiplayer. Now that, would have been the icing on the cake.
Loved rayman games since an early age. Never played the first one though, should play that. I just completed the Origins level Land of the Livid dead, which is a bonus sort of stage you get when you find all the red tooth thingys. Behind that weird gummy-mouthed guy who runs when you approach him. It was kinda difficult to do, that level. Boss was quite easy though. That's Origins only real weakness- It has pretty bad bosses. I can't remember what it's called, but I used to have an isometric GB rayman Edit;hoodlums revenge. That was terrible. rabbids was too. Loved three.
