So basically this is the thread where my non-pony model cars will go. Vanellope Von Schweetz's 1987 Ford 'Sugarbird' Car from Wreck-It Ralph
OK, well this started out as a freestyle build where you take a kit and just keep adding stuff until you come up with a theme. Base kit is a USA-1 Monster Truck snap kit. The engine is from a Revell Low Rider kit, the barrels are from an AMT trailer kit, the spoiler from a NASCAR COT kit, the steering wheel (not visible but what the hey) from a Lumina kit, Vic's head and the "grilled ribs" are from the Bad Medicine dragster, and his body and goggles are from a Tamiya mechanics kit. *catches breath* The launcher is made from a rim from a low rider, some windshield braces from an Earnhardt MC, and an AMT NASCAR wheel back. The Polaris is a wooden dowel and the thruster bell is a fanbelt housing (or whatever it's called) from a Lumina kit. Tremble you weaklings, cower in fear I am your ruler, land, sea and air Immense in my girth, erect I stand tall I'm a nuclear murderer I am Polaris
As the last decal was placed, little Miles Prower's tails started spinning like crazy!!! Since I'm now the moderator for the Fantasy Cup Series on Randy Ayers' forum, Tails is basically taking over my ride. Hence the number being half of my old one (mine's 46). I think he's just as ready for the season as I am!!!
Awesome model!Just a question, how big are those?Like, hot-wheels size or RC car size?Or somewhere in the middle?
I've still got my weight in model kits on my shelf. That and drawers full of decals. As for the cutie marks, I printed those on Testors decal film.
So yeah, I have a set of these NASCAR game pieces and a bunch of spare decals so I decided to combine the two and make a box for one of them!! The art was done in MS Paint and the finished box measures 1.375" x .875" x .625"!!
Got to design and wrap a die cast when I started interning with RCR!!! Hick Strutlin's Pennzoil Buick (Fantasy Cup 2017)
Woah~ So cool! What are they made out of? ((I would normally guess metal, but some have an interesting clay-like texture))
So it's the end of the year which means time to get those Fantasy Cup cars built!! I've got my team for next year!! Hick Strutlin's Levi Garrett Taurus My Quaker State Pontiac
