Once again, ten gun-saddles swung towards the new faces, "That's close enough." Red said threateningly to Facade, "You aren't getting anything in this bakery unless you are given it."
Iron had found the books he was looking for but he was still shuffling though the books trying to find things that will keep him entertained until he had heard somepony talk and a smacking noise that was followed by a groan. He turned around his horn had started to glow ready to defend himself his magic was much stronger because he had carried large stacks of metal because of work "Come out now!" Iron yelled. He looked around the buildings he could see and it was silent he didn't like it until a small and larger pony came out of one of the destroyed houses. "Don't worry we are not going to hurt you," said the big pony Iron's glare did not change but his the glow of his horn started to dim. "Who are you?" Iron said the big pony opened his mouth but the smaller one started to talk "I'm Marty I was a traveling show pony and this lug," Marty said poking him, "He is Idio but he prefers to be called Big," Iron lowered his guard and started to walk down the book pile but he still had several books to throw at them incase they had any ideas.
Facade chuckled and as his wings fluttered slightly. "There is no need for such violence. I do believe, by the looks of your weapons, you are military correct?" Etereo huffed, knowing he was confirming her information. Facade ignored her and continued to wait for an answer.
"Yes, I am the Commander of the Commandos, and you better have a dang good reason to be here." Red said lowly.
Eluuna's eyes flashed. If there was one thing she hated other that dishonesty, it was ponies who thought they could ignore peers.
"I don't trust anypony until they prove themselves trustworthy." Red said, glancing at Sargent, "So I'm not trusting him until proven trustworthy."
Facade flashed Red a grin. "I do, my dear military leader. I would be Facade, politician, court sub-advisory, and noblepony of Canterlot. And by your military oath, which I know you swore to, you must protect all high political individuals. Which I happen to be. And here I was just hoping a military group would pass by," He chuckled.
"Never heard of you, and I only serve the royal family, the RULING royals." Red said with a grimace to Facade, "I do not protect advisors."
"Sadly, You can't trust anypony these days, including ponies who claim they are a noblepony of Canterlot, royalty, or not." This last word was almost spat out.
"I like this guy, it's cute how he walks in here and demands respect." Sarge said with another chuckle.
Facade's eyes narrowed and his words became a bit harsher. "My, my. A pony who would value some idiot like BlueBlood over me. Not everpony is born into a royal family, such as the likes of him. Some of us must climb as high as we can go to get there. Regardless of what you think, I am considered a HPI and will be protected." He decided not to answer Eluuuna, considering her opinion lesser and thus not worth a response. "I do not demand respect, Sergent. I demand what is by right, mine. Protection. Hate me as you wish, but people like me are needed in running a functional government, like it or not."
"I meant as in Celestia and Luna you idiot." Red said, "Oh, and just so you know, my aunt is a direct descendant of Celestia, but you don't see me throwing that around do you?" he said with spite heavy in his voice, he was liking this Facade less and less.
Eluuna's eyes narrowed, and she could barely resist screaming. "I'll be right back." she said, trying not to do a mock curtsy on her way to the back of the store. She really did dislike this pony, who demanded respect. - - Auto Merge - - She walked back, seething, but a little calmer. Like said earlier, she really did hate being ignored.
Gaze had meet the two named Marty and Big they are best friends they survived because they hid in Marty's basement filled with food and water but they had ran out so they needed to look for more. Iron looked at the two and noticed the Marty had a rifle on his back and Big had a wooden post that used to be a mailbox he thinks he had made friends with them but he doesn't know if the felling is mutual. Marty had told Iron that there was a bakery here in Ponyville and maybe it still had some food or anything edible inside the building he nodded and started to follow them tot he Bakery because he was starving. Once the three got to the building a large hole was inside the Bakery and they all readied their weapons and entered inside but it seemed to be deserted they started to roam around they had found some food inside the pantry a box of cupcakes which they scarfed down and some cans of food also. The rest of the building was deserted the owners are either gone or dead and he couldn't look inside the room when he had saw two cribs Iron went down and signaled Marty and Big leave. They found enough food to last them a a few days as they walked out Iron looked up to see Canterlot he wondered if their was still items he needed and also more ponies he asked the two if they wanted to go and they had agreed. Big had heard their was a train that was still working and it could take them to Canterlot but the downside there are ponies inside the train and if you want to go to Canterlot you have to pay them. They looked at the food supply and think they could give them half of the cans after a couple of minutes they made it to the train station and saw a few ponies lining up giving the pony in a suit food or other valuables. They walked up and got in but they had to sacrifice more then they had hoped but they were going to Canterlot so they could find more food.
"Then what you meant to say was Royal Sisters." He corrected. "The Royal Family would encompass many families. Why not try to be a little more specific next time? Being vague gets ponies hurt." He said with a little jab. "And my, my! Direct descendant hm? Well, as much of the urge I have to bend down on my knee, excuse me if I don't do so, your majesty." His voice just layered with sarcasm. Etereo sighed seeing where this was clearly heading. "Despite your relation to our Princess-" "My lord." Etereo said as she walked up next to him, showing herself to the group. "I do aplogize for his wording and behavior Commando Red." Etereo said, revealing her knowledge of his team. "However, under the regulations of any of the armed services of Equestria, it was dictated by Princess Celestia soon after an attack on Canterlot became evident several months ago that actively serving military units must protect the Royal Family or the Royal Court Services. Disobeying such orders can lead to court martial, if the government still stands that is." Etereo made it clear in her monotone voice she intended no disrespect towards anyone, even as she brought up the Court Martial, unlike Facade.
Eluuna smiled at Etereo kindly. "Seeing as you are obviously the smarter or at least more sophisticated of the group, do you know of anything about the Princesses? What has happened to them?" She hesitated. "Maybe we can get farther with talks of the government if there is, in fact, a government."
"Hate to break it to ya, sweet heart," Sarge said to Etereo, "But the government's gone, order is dead, and law is useless. Your friend here can go jump off a bridge for all I care."
"The only one in any shape to rule right now is me. The royal sisters have fled to the secret bunker and now I am the highest ranked pony in Equestria currently, so I am the government." Red said, "Or what's left of it. And the Commander of the Military can wave the order you stated if he/she wishes, which I just so happen to be."
"Actually, They have not taken to the Secret Bunker as Emergency Plan: Royal Contingency dictated. The Bunker was bombed into oblivion. The Royal Sisters are actually currently missing at the time. And Sergent, or Sarge as your troopers refereed to you in mission briefings, the law and order will always stand. It is up to us, if we should continue what Celestia and Luna have built for thousands of years." Facade while listening to Etereo made sure to laugh at Red. "Declaring Martial Law over Equestria hm? My, my. As much as a DictatorShip sounds like what we need right now, I'd have to disagree on that one. The Princess would never stand for it. And unless you intend to defy the very government they've created, I suggest you draw back that proposition."
