I only read about half of the first book, a couple of years back. But I used to watch the old cartoon series, which was pretty good.

I read one of the books, or at least part of it in Primary school - I was a bit young to truly appreciate it in all honesty but I do remember it being a very enjoyable read nonetheless ^^

I found them enjoyable though, good series.

Oh man, it used to be my favorite series. I've read all of them except for the last 3 or 4. They just got too formulaic for me to continue enjoying them. However, for about 5 years, I was always reading or rereading at least one of them.

Too bad Brian Jacques died :( I was really upset when I found out.

I read one of the books years ago. Too long ago to remember it properly if truth be told. I think it was the seventh book in the series? The plot was something about a group of animals from Redwall seeking out this old island and something about the people living there. There was another story that I think was set in an alternate timeline as well. All I remember from that was that the villain was a pirate captain with a bone scimitar. Not much else, really.

I'd love to be able to read it again and may just start the series from scratch. If anypony knows the name of that particular book though, it'd be much appreciated. I haven't thought about it in ages but remember enjoying it immensely.

If the book was about an otter in was called High Rhulain. That's the only series that comes to mind that includes an island. Or it could possibly be Legend of Luke? I haven't read these books in so long. :[ I own them all from when I was in elementary, and since the author recently died I've been trying to go through the series again. :p

The Legend of Luke! That's the one!

Cheers! I've been trying to remember that name for ages.

    D'aw, I loved Redwall when I was younger <33

I still remember Cluny the Scourge and the Marlfoxes as my favorite baddies. Always did like me an awesome villain >3!
