    Probably comparable to metalocalyose,

    Except in the other direction.

    Metalocalypse was always enlightening.

    Unfortunately, it makes no difference. Those that are actually close-minded enough to become extremists will refuse to accept any answer other than their own. If they were more open-minded, they would realise that what they're doing is stupid.

    That is exactly what I do. Weeping for humanity is pointless. Laughing at humanity, however, is a great way to use your time productively.

    Surprisingly, this actually has meaning;
    Satirical perhaps, but it's there.

    So very true. I deal with PeTA drones a lot... they close their mind to any and all facts that prove the group they follow wrong and their arguments then are then weak and repetitive... I've seen the same in religious arguments.
    Coming from a small town area most people are Christian's/Catholics and anyone who isn't tends to be looked down upon especially by the older residents. My fiancee calls me agnostic... I have beliefs, but no "true" religious beliefs... I look at science but I also know science isn't always right... I believe in spirits and have somewhat Native American beliefs. - This is how he described me from what I've told him since I don't know what the proper term would be...

    Clearly we all must start a cult worshiping MLP. Then to be historically accurate we can split on Celestia and Luna and go on a war rampage to destroy the other side.

    Ah, my favourite thread is back.

    Hmm.
    You know,
    If all the events described in the New Testament had occurred
    In our era - with various things substituted by their modern equivalents -
    Wouldn't Christians be wearing electric chairs around their necks?

    I always the tradition of wearing and instrument of torture and execution
    Around one's neck fairly odd.

    Equally so that turning it upside down suddenly represents something else;
    Potentially something drastically different.

    My clothes smell like detergent. =/

    Equally interesting is that Jesus is often depicted as white with blond hair
    In modern media, as are most of the persons surrounding this portrayal.
    Yet these events took place in the Mediterranean region
    Where such traits are none too common.

    Oh well.

    I think I'm starting to care.
    I should stop.

    Where did you get the electric collars from?
    Nevermind, I don't think I want to know, but I know it wasn't from the N.T. As I've read it.
    And I also agree with you on the thing about Jesus' image, and he also more than likely wasn't dressed near as nice as he is often shown, because he was in one of the poorest of classes of Plebs in the Roman Empire.

    Fine, electric chairs, but still, what makes you think that?

    Well,
    It'd be kinda hard to hang a firing squad around your neck.
    And wearing a noose around it would be silly.
