"He wasn't," Nightshade said. "But then suddenly he was. I'm not really sure how, but that little mare convinced one of the most powerful and chaotic beings in existence to be... nice."
"Your guess is as good as mine," Nightshade admitted. "I've only met him a few times, but he seems so different from the stories."
"He's a lot more considerate of others than you'd expect a god of chaos to to be. He even thanked us for being his followers. It was weird, but pretty cool."
"Huh. I expected none of that. I always imagined he just... barely cared, did whatever benefitted him."
"That's what I thought, too. One of these days I'm going to have to ask that little Pega how she did it."
"The Guard keeps track of important or dangerous ponies," Nightshade said. "I'm not technically allowed to see them anymore, but... well, let's just say locks aren't much of an obstacle."
"True, but it's been a few days since he became known to the Guard. That much power... they're gonna be keeping an eye on him."
"I doubt he'd be able to access this realm," Nightshade said. "It defies what he believes to be the rules of the multiverse."
"Probably not. Too focused on order." She shrugged. "I dunno. He seems nice enough, but he's way too full of himself. I don't think my dad trusts him at all."
