    Of course, by no means do they universally have it that bad. It's not a chauvinistic assumption but rather an easily observable truth that the hawt ones tend to get the world handed to them on a silver platter. Good thing Rockout gets the best of both worlds, eh? ;)

    Also, I'm curious - what program/s do you use for most of your work? I use GIMP for my crap, but I'd like to see if I can find something that'll work better...that I don't have to pay for. ::S:

    @Lowline Thrash- Believe it or not ALL of my work is done on MS Paint. I work on a large scale so that when I upload to DA, it gets scaled down and looks way smoother. For the drawing I did for jewel, I used pen and paper, scanned it, then saved it on Paint as a monochrome bitmap so it was just pixellated black lines. Then I just pasted that image in a png file, filled in the colors, and made a few minor edits. I'm pretty low-tech but I have a few tried-and-true tricks up my sleeve.

    interesting choice, i myself for signatures use paint.net and only recently started using inkscape and ponyscape for my vectors, your work is very well done for MSpaint,
    mind sharing those tricks ;)

    Sure. Off the cuff I can't really think of any. Mainly it's just scale and a few ways of cleaning up sketches. But if you ever have questions, just ask and I'll help as best I can.

    Holy cow, man. I can't even conceive of going back to MS Paint after being pampered with more "advanced" stuff. You must have a lot more patience than I. :dunno: Then again, I guess the same could be said of me and GIMP. It may be a bit above MS Paint, but it still lacks what should be basic features such as tapers on lines, which I have to obtain through painstaking tricks of my own.

    Regardless, keep up the good work, brotha. If I ever find the time to start writing up a comic strip of misadventures for Thrashy, you can bet I'll give Rockette a shout-out.
