Hey I've recently been thinking of setting up a new roleplay that is drastically different from my two, LOCP and the Resistance. I've heard you talking about a episode-related rp, so I raise you this: I know Heart's and Hooves day has come and gone, but that's the basic idea. It would be a wooing-based rp, generally peaceful, but there will, of course, be the needed adventures. But the general idea is that the guys pick and try to 'woo' one of girls they want. If it goes right, I have a good feeling about it, do to it being a generally peaceful rp, but it still has some action in it. Whatcha think about this? Oh and I've decided in LOCP 4, that there won't be near the volience as the previous installments. LOCP 4 is mostly gonna be you guys livin your lives. I won't set up any huge adventure or anything for a while in LOCP 4, just to you know on its devolpment.
Not too sure that it would work... HOWEVER the idea of a pony holiday is likely to. For example everypony getting ready for Hearths warming eve. Or maybe Nightmare night.
I'm thinking of an RP where ponies are starting colonies on other planets. The whole idea isn't too developed
I agree with a peaceful role-play. Although I've always wanted to role-play in industrialized Equestria. Has anypony read Fallout:Equestria?
Actually the Space idea hits me as a line between action and casual. Mainly becasue you can have action at one point and time and then after words you go back to casual game play. So in a sense you are applying to all and not devoting to just one or the other.
Peaceful roleplays are good ideas. But as Rp's tend to do, they expand into something that becomes out of control and confusing. Action/Adventure Rp's are popular to some people (Who doesnt want to be a hero and fight bad guys to save the planet?) but the peaceful ones are very quick to miss out on because there is not enough of them. If you want to have a story for the roleplay that goes on for dozens of pages, it makes an entertaining Rp.But the Rp's die if they dont get a good responce If the Rp section were divided into categorys, this would make things alot more intresting. Some people have different opinions on what their Rp should have or what their creator wants. The Creator should think alot more on their Rp's story, like what appeals to people and so on.
A roleplay where I'll be the villain, and will trap characters in a room with a spy. The spy is one of them, they don't know who. Everything the spy does, I've told to do. Players have to guess who the spy is by talking to each other 'n' stuff. If they're wrong, a boxing mitt on a spring punches them in the face. Hmm?
