Ruh Roh (One on One)

She flew around, looking like she was preparing the ingredients for tea.

 

She returned a moment later, looking down at him.

“I have a bed, you know.”

 

“You don’t have to lie on the floor.”

 

She squinted at him before kneeling down and kissing him, her hands on the floor besides his head.

“You’re being silly.”

 

“So, you should go on the bed. It’s very comfortable.”

 

She raised an eyebrow studying him.

“Then I guess you don’t have to...”

 

She sat back, frowning thoughtfully.

“I’m not sure. I don’t really have anything to compare it to.”

 

“Well,” she began slowly, frowning. “We eat a lot of fruits... we don't eat a lot of meat here, so we have a lot of beans and nuts... From what I can tell, our food is fairly primitive as compared to yours.”

 

She squinted at him before giving him a small smile.

“Sayleri.”

 

“It’s like... I don’t really know how to explain it. I have some in the freezer, if you want some.”
