“Well, Eden doesn’t look like a pixie either, so you can both go in, and I can come with you while you go.”
Eden glared at him but Briar looked down at her and took her hand. They exchanged some sort of silent communication, with Eden looking annoyed but Briar looking pleading. Finally, she groaned. “We’ll talk to the counsel. Try and get some advice.”
Eden fixed him with a gaze, her eyes narrowed. "Yes. They might." Briar glared at her before turning back to Sam. "Eden and I can go talk to them alone."
Briar took Eden’s hand as Eden stared at Sam suspiciously. Briar tugged on her hand and she broke her gaze, looking up at him. Her gaze softened and she kissed his cheek lightly. “We’ll see you tomorrow,” Briar said to Sam, glancing at him.
