He was what looked to be like a ward. Pixies, dressed in baby blue clothes, hovered above him, various colored Enryli swirling above him as they worked on his wound, like fireworks. Eden stood off to his right, her arms crossed as she watched nervously. She noticed his eyes were open and frowned. "Can't you put him to sleep? It might be too much for him."
She tilted her head slightly, frowning deeply. Her eyes traced his features and she sighed, sitting down. "Nope. Can't get rid of me that easily."
Eden's hand took his instinctively and she hesitated before pulling away. "Can't you put him under?" The pixies working on him said nothing, but a wave of black would go over Sam and the last thing he would be able to see were golden eyes and fireworks.
Eden's head rested on the side of his bed. She was seated in a chair, fast asleep, her head about an inch from his hand.
His hand reached to her hair, brushing it gently. He pulled back after a moment, folding his hands almost scoldingly.
