His eyes fluttered open and he looked up at her dazedly, his eyes, normally so clear, were foggy. "...Tez?"
His brows furrowed, and he put his hand to his head. "I.. I don't know. Something's..." He grunted as he tried to sit up. "Something's... not right."
His face grew even paler and he squeezed his eyes shut. “Okay. Okay. I need... uh... I need to get down to the Center, then.”
He sat up and his movements were slower than usual, more lethargic, as if he were moving through syrup. His brows were furrowed and he stood up, swaying for a moment in confusion before he moved to get his coat.
His hair was disheveled and he looked down at his shoes with a look of confusion before shaking his head and stepping past them. "Come on," he said, opening the door. "Let's go."
He frowned, shaking his head slowly. "I don't know. I need to make sure it is what I think it is, first."
