"Uh, okay," she said, placing her hands together tentatively. Her hands began to glow again and she closed her eyes, bowing her head. The world around her shimmered and she slowly faded away until she disappeared altogether.
With a small glow, she faded back into existence, her eyes opening as she solidified in the same place. "I can't move while it's happening, but... it's good for hiding."
Eden was floating above him and she tipped his head back with her pointer finger underneath his chin. Her wings were glowing, the Enryli flowing through them in sparkling patterns, and her eyes were intense, trained on his. They seemed to be shining with a warm, mesmerizing light, and Sam would feel slightly dazed.
She gave him a small, gentle smile, her eyes warm and kind. His mind would grow foggier and foggier and she would speak to him, but he wouldn't be able to hear it. After a moment, she tapped his nose and landed lightly on the ground, folding her wings against her back. His mind would instantly clear, like the fog rolling off the ground.
She laughed deeply, placing her hands on her hips as she considered him. "That is my favorite trick."
