She felt her skin, frowning as it was still hot. She took a sip of the water. "This is killing me. I'm dying."
His whole body relaxed and he shook his head. “...yeah. Yeah. People say that. I thought you were being serious, though.”
He laughed slightly, shaking his head as he laid down next to her. "Tez, one of those things I just took too seriously, and the other is my own problem. You don't have to apologize for either."
He took it, hesitating slightly before pulling her closer, his arms wrapping around her. "Is this okay?"
He stopped before laying back down slowly and pulling the blankets over their head, blocking out the light. "Is this better?"
