"Because you're up," she replied, matter-of-factly.
"I'll be back to bed in a while," he said quietly, pulling away. "I just need to clear my head."
She cocked her head. "Can I help?"
"No," he said, a little tense. "I just need to go take a shower or something."
She cocked her head. "Alright.. Can I dry your hair at least?"
He seemed uncomfortable, sighing slightly. "If you're still awake."
"Can I have a kiss?"
He kissed her lightly, feeling hesitant as he pulled away. "I'll... be back."
She nodded. "I love you."
"Mm. I love you too."
She sat back, drinking her water.
He left her alone, his shoulders hunched as he left the room.
She watched him, her brows furrowed.

He returned about ten minutes later, his blonde hair dripping with water.
Tez was singing quietly to herself. She had gone to the window, and was looking out of it.
He frowned, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're supposed to be asleep."
She quieted, looking at him. "Well.. You could have told me you didn't want me to dry your hair."
He said nothing, but instead looked down. He was quiet before he offered her a towel.
