"And saying that you were a cool being was enough to make you blush?" she teased. "Man. It doesn't take much, does it?"

 

She smirked at him as they crossed the edge of the woods.

"I'll use that wisely."

 

"Which way do we go?" she asked, looking around.

 

She took a deep breath, looking slightly nervous.

"Right. Right."

 

"You can't just say 'no worries' and expect me not to worry. That's not how this works."

 

"Ah. There we are. My nerves have been eased."

 

She gave him a warm grin before looking back towards the city.

"Would you believe that coming to your school was one of the first times I had been near humans intentionally?"

 

"Yeah. Well, we aren't encouraged to hang out with humans. Just... you know. You guys don't seem to like us too much."

 

"Right. Well, to be fair, we do prank you a lot."

 

"And we're going to be pranking in the market, right?"
