He gave her a small smile, kissing her cheek before leaving, closing the door behind him.
She stretched her arms, yawning as she got up and went to the kitchen.
Rowan joined her about ten minutes later, his blond hair still wet.
She looked up at him, holding up a mug. "I made you coffee!"
He blinked in surprise before coming over to her, a small smirk on his lips. “Did you, now?”
She nodded, holding it out to him.
He took it, looking down at it. "Thank you."
It seemed a bit.. grainy, but she grinned at him. "I think I did it right!"
He frowned, sniffing it tentatively. "What's in it?"
"..Coffee?"
He hesitated before taking a small sip.
There definitely ground in it. She smiled brightly, obviously unaware.
He blinked in surprise before giving her a small smile. "Here. Try some."
She cocked her head with a frown. "Do you not like it?"
"No, it's good work. I'm just curious to see what you think of it."
She nodded slowly, brightening again as she went to take a sip.
He tilted his head, waiting thoughtfully.
She squinted after drinking it. "Crunchy.."
"Mm," he agreed, bringing her to the coffee maker. "Here. I'll show you."
She frowned. "I'm sorry. I did add two of the sugar like how you do."
