Ruh Roh (One on One)

It was a strange combination of flavors. The inside seemed filled with a raspberry custard, and the flavor seemed to change in his mouth, finding a balance between tart and sweet that worked best for him until finding the correct ratio. The outside was soft and fluffy and had a flavor almost reminiscent of lemon.

 

She grinned in delight, lying back in the vivid grass.

"I'm glad you think so."

 

"This is. Obviously. It literally changes in your mouth to taste better specifically to you."

 

She paused, sitting up slowly.

"You might be genius."

 

Eden began a small chant.

“Do it, do it, do it, do it.

 

She raised an eyebrow.

“I want to test it on someone else first.”

 

“You go first,” she said patiently, folding her hands.

 

“Is it?”

 

She hesitated before taking a small bite, her eyes widening immediately.

“Oh my god.”

 

"This is... if... wow."

She looked up at him.

"Who exactly will know about the research you're doing? Is there any way you can study this instead?"
