She frowned.

“Because we need to dissect it. That’s the problem.”

 

“No, no, it’s fine,” Lark reassured. “It doesn’t really have anything to do with science. It’s more of a moral problem.”

 

“It’s alright,” she reassured. “We just need to figure out how to proceed.”

 

She sighed, running a hand through her shorn hair.

“Yeah. Me too.”

 

Lark bent over her work, muttering to herself.
