She looked down at it for a moment before taking it.
His hand was warm. "How have you been feeling?"
“Better,” she said, nodding. “Being outside is nice.”
"It is. The sun is out."
“Yeah. Getting fresh air was nice.”
"I think so too."
She fell silent after a moment, looking down at the ground with a frown.
He was quiet as well before looking up. "Well.. You look nice."
She blinked in surprise, looking at him. “Pardon?”
"You look nice."
She bit her lip, looking up at the sky. “This isn’t working, is it?”
He frowned. "What?"
“This. It’s weird and awkward, right?”
"Did you expect it to just be fine?"
“I thought we’d be able to work with it.”
"I think we can.."
She bit her lip, looking up at him. “Will it ever be the same as it was?”
"Of course, Eden."
She pursed her lips, her brows furrowed as she said nothing.
"Is it okay?"
