She glowered at him, her brows furrowing. After a moment, she groaned in frustration, shaking her head and flapping her wings as if preparing to take flight. "I can't talk to you right now. You make me too frustrated."
He hesitated, folding his hands. "I was just doing what you asked me to.. I don't want to.. I don't want to lose you."
She looked up at the sky, many thoughts kicking around her head that she didn't know how to respond. "You didn't visit," she said eventually. "You didn't call. You just... give up on this stuff and I don't really know how to respond to that. You say you don't want to lose me, but I have to tell you to take action."
She shook her head in frustration, glaring at him. She floated about a foot in the air, her wings flapping. "Don't bother. If you weren't moved to action before, you certainly won't be now."
She pressed her lips together, and he would be able to see the conflicting emotions crossing her as she watched him. It eventually hardened, however, and she shook her head and flew away.
( I can start.) Dark smoke columned to the sky, along with the scent of burning wood. It was dark out, but the heavy fire illuminated the surrounding area. Sam balled his hands into fists, watching it burn. He saved very little, apart from the garden and connecting observatory. There were a few cuts on his face here and there, and the small occasional burn. Those were all accidents, and he paid them no mind.
Eden flew quickly towards the smoke, her brows furrowed. He wouldn’t have. He was smarter than that, right?
She flew through the ruins of the college, her brows furrowed. She flew into the smoldering remains of one room and her gaze landed on Sam.
“Sam,” she said quietly, her voice soft as she looked around at the building. She walked over to him hesitantly, her wings flapping to clear the air. “What did you do?”
“What are you doing?” she asked, her brows furrowed with nervousness. “Sam, This isn’t good. You’re going to get into a lot of trouble for this.”
