She looked distraught, looking up at him. "We can't just keep this from them."
His brows furrowed. "Fine. I'll tell them. But you're not coming with."
"Of course I am," she said, frowning. "Why wouldn't I?"
"Because you're not a part of it."
"I'm the one saying you need to tell."
"Please let me do it alone.."
She frowned, crossing her arms before sighing. "Would it make you more comfortable?"
"Yes."
She shook her head, a frown crossing her lips. "Okay. Okay. Fine."
"Thank you."
She hesitated before giving him a small, tentative kiss on the cheek. "Be careful, okay?"
He smiled softly at her. "I will."
She squeezed his hand before stepping back, crossing her arms.
He kissed her forehead before going to the Alyndar.

The Alyndar was flying around in her room, gathering materials quickly.
Sam knocked on the door.
"Come in!" the Alyndar called over her shoulder.
He opened the door, his eyes down.
