He wrapped his arms around her, sighing.
She rested her head against his chest, her arms slipping around his torso. “Why was he here?”
"He's the one who has to supervise me."
She looked up at him, her brows furrowed. “Wait, really?”
He sighed. "Yeah.."
“Whose idea was that?” she asked, burying her face in his neck. “It doesn’t seem very kind.”
He chuckled. "I'm sure it was just coincidence."
“Perhaps. Some of the Alyndars are a little spiteful.”
He smiled slightly. "I'm not surprised."
She pulled away from him after a moment. “I should probably go home...”
"I wish you didn't have to.."
“I know, but it’s the kind thing to do.”
He frowned. "Will you come back tonight..?"
“Will he be here tonight?”
"He said he leaves when I sleep."
“Then that’s when I’ll come back.”
He nodded. "Okay. I'll see you."
“I’ll see you soon.”
He kissed her cheek, standing up with a frown.
She opened the window and stuck her leg out.
