She hadnt come back for a few minutes before finally knocking on the door.
He blinked, turning slightly. "C'mon in."
She opened the door, holding a glass of ice water. "I got this for you."
He looked over before giving her a smile. "Thanks, Tez."
She nodded, resting her head against him.
He took small sips, draping one arm over her shoulder.
She buried her face in his shirt, her brows furrowed.
"C'mon. Let's sleep, okay?"
She nodded, pulling away for a moment. "I love you."
"I love you too," he said, not meeting her gaze.
She kissed his neck before wrapping her arms around him.
His arms encircled her waist and he sighed, lying down with her.
She reached up to take his face in her hands, her thumbs brushing his cheekbones.
His violet eyes flicked up to hers and he sighed, kissing the tip of her nose. "I love you."
"I love you too," she said gently, observing him.
He pulled her closer, resting his head on her shoulder.
She rested her head against his, her heartbeat quick.
“Your heart is beating so fast. Try to relax.”
She was quiet. "It's hard."
"It's okay, Siren. It's alright."
