He followed, gripping the cane. "So, you were cleaning when I came in yesterday. What was that about?"
She was quiet, glancing over at him and observing him for a moment. There was an odd feeling in her chest, like a strange pressure, and she hugged herself. "I missed you so much."
He looked over at her, his brows furrowing. "Hey..." he said gently, extending his free arm. "Hey, it's alright."
They arrived at the market sometime later and he kissed her head before pulling away. “I need to get some fruit.”
