Ruh Roh (One on One)

Briar was waiting, his brows furrowed.

"If you're going to try to sneak her out, you might as well just do it now," he said, his voice sharp.

 

He studied him for a moment before sighing.

"Fine."

 

Briar entered, saying nothing more.

The night fell and the window opened, as usual, Eden slipping in through the window.

 

Briar was sitting on a chair, folding his arms.

"What are you making?"

 

"What does it do?"

 

"Do you meditate?"

 

"Maybe you should," he said flatly.

 

"Just that maybe you could use some reflection in your life," he said flatly. "That's all."
