"Get over it, Sam," he said flatly. "Just because you're insecure about your relationship with Eden doesn't mean you get to be an ass."
He laughed slightly. "I'm not insecure with our relationship. I'm only being an ass because you decided to comment on my temper, which is something I've been working to fix."
"I'm ordered to watch you because of your temper, Sam. What else am I supposed to comment on? And of course, you're insecure about your relationship with Eden. Anyone would be."
“Uh, your girlfriend turned out to be possessed and you have scary anger issues that caused you to burn down an entire college. It’s a volatile relationship.”
He frowned. "She's not possessed. Besides, I'm trying to get better. Not just for me, but for her, too. I want her to be happy."
