She fell silent, her hand on his heart.
It took awhile, but he eventually drifted off.
She was quiet, watching the lights, before following, falling asleep.

Tez was asleep, her face buried in the pillow.
Rowan's arms were around her, and his mouth was slightly open as he dozed.
She shifted, her eyes fluttering as woke. She sat up, stretching her arms.
Rowan grumbled in his sleep, turning his face into his pillow.
She kissed his hair, lying down and relaxing again.
Several minutes would pass before he stirred, his eyes fluttering.
She didn't notice, curled up beside him.
He smiled, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close.
She blinked, looking up at him warmly. "Good morning, Row."
“Morning,” he replied, his voice muffled as he buried his face in her shoulder.
She smiled slightly, kissing his temple. "Did you sleep well?"
"Mm. You?"
She nodded, relaxing. "It's nice to have you back."
He nodded in agreement, kissing her cheek. "I missed you like crazy."
