"I'll die. I'm dead."
"Uh huh."
She stuck her tongue out dramatically.
He tapped it with his pointer.
She caught his hand. "I'll bite you."
He frowned. “Please don’t.”
She pulled it close to her before kissing the back of it.
He grinned, pulling her close to him. "Much obliged."
She rested her head on his shoulder, saying nothing.
"Can't believe you threatened to bite me."
She smiled slightly. "But I didn't."
“You could have.”
"Right, and I didn't. Isn't that good?"
I wish you hadn’t threatened me in the first place.
She looked at him with a smile. "Aren't I good?"
“You’re wonderful.”
"I won't threaten to bite you anymore," she replied. "So it's okay."
“Good. Thank you.”
She massaged his palm idly as she thought. "Will I learn more Elvish today?"
“You can,” he said easily, kissing her forehead.
