She would have gone for awhile before a light pierced shrouding darkness, and tall spires became visible.
It appeared in the center there was a large, dome shaped area. It had multiple holes in it, presumably entrances, and a large on at the top. Tez entered one, to reveal an open area inside. In the center was multiple blue crystals, glowing oddly with power. It seemed that many sirens had already gathered.
She stopped before bowing her head and raising her her hands in a cupped fashion, as if giving something. In fact, all of the sirens did the same. The light of the crystals were suddenly darkened a bit, as pitch black tentacles curled around them, larger than any normal octopus. It wasn't until dark hands gripped the crystals did the Queen pull herself into view. Her eyes were an oily black, with irises and pupils like the moon. Her dark hair floated freely, and a small smile revealed sharp teeth. She was much larger than any normal siren, and took the closest one to her in her palm, using one of her nails to brush her hair back. She cleared her throat before speaking in a low, smooth voice. "My subjects," she began. "You are under my control. I have begun this gathering to discuss the clash between our home and Tercania. Unfortunately, it's escalated into something more, and we will have to defend our home."
Tez's head was still bowed, like all the others as she listened obediently and without choice. The Queen continued. "I have decided that you, my children, will help me with this task, and once that is completed you may return home."
She pulled her hand away. The Queen turned her head, noticing him. She squinted at him. "There is an intruder. He is not our kind. You two, kindly escort him to the surface. Everyone else may go." He would feel hands take his arms, forcefully pulling him away.
Tez pulled her hand away again, and the Queen began humming, trying to calm him into a compliant trance.
He shook his head, speaking to block out her singing. "Stop it! Stop! Tez, it's me. It's me. Please!"
They managed to yank him back and he felt the blood pounding in his ears from panic. "Please..." he managed before falling unconscious, his body forcing him to sleep.
