He fell silent, slipping his free hand in his pocket. “I miss you too,” he said eventually, opening the door. “Thanks for taking care of me.” He stepped out of the door and closed it behind him.
Upon investigation he would find two figures fighting, one with a long spear and the other with a small dagger. Upon realization that Tez, with the dagger, was pushed against some coral, barely able to push back against the tribal siren, who attacked fiercely. She quickly ducked away, letting the spear hit the coral. Tez took the moment to move away, catching her breath.
His eyes widened, and he swam forward, extending a hand, speaking in the tribal siren's language. "Hey, stop!"
They didn't yet notice Rowan, and when the siren went to attack again, Tez quickly moved to the side, grabbing her arm and biting her.
Rowan's eyes widened and he hesitated for a split second before shouting again, coming forward to break them up. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!" he demanded, his voice rough and commanding.
Tez seemed upset as the feral seemed irritated. "There's nothing wrong with my people! Our leader is good and you shouldn't insult things you don't know about!" The other siren smirked. "As if I wouldn't. We know she is all bark and no bite. She can't even control her subjects properly."
Tez threw the dagger away as the siren left. It wasn't her anyways. She folded her arms, her brows furrowing.
"I've had enough! I can't keep hearing about how horrible my family is!" She threw her arms up. "It's not evil!"
He sighed, crossing his arms as he considered her. "And yet you're attacking people in defense of them. You're really not helping your case," he said quietly. He didn't seem to be critical at this point, just tired.
