She almost looked like she were about to cry. "But they'll be itchy."
He hesitated, his face softening. "Don't panic, Tez. It'll be alright."
She waved her hands slightly. "It'll be itchy!"
"Trust me."
She took a breath before nodding. "Okay.. Which way is the river?"
"Just through these trees."
She nodded, starting off towards it quickly.
He followed, yawning tiredly as they walked.
She went to the water, washing her hands off quickly.
He raised an eyebrow. "Better?"
She nodded, watching her task adamantly.
"We'll get you cleaned up at home."
She nodded slowly, standing up. "Right. At home."
"We should be there by tonight."
She looked up at him brightly. "Really? I mean, I had some fun in the woods but now I'll itch.."
"Yeah. We'll get there before giving you an oatmeal bath."
"Embarrassing.."
"Don't be embarrassed."
"But.. oatmeal bath.."
"We do it a lot with elven children."
