He groaned, standing up slowly, his eyes fluttering. He stumbled slightly before walking into the bedroom.
She would be able to tell instantly that something was up. He walked over to the window and began to try to open it, struggling with the lock.
He didn't seem to hear her, momentarily distracted by the puzzle of trying to get his head outside of the window. He figured it out eventually, his eyelids fluttering as he began to sling his other leg out, hanging freely in the air.
He glanced at her, swatting at her lightly as if she were a fly, his violet eyes unfocused as he leaned forward.
He gasped suddenly, and she would see him steady himself against the window frame. "Let go," she would hear him groan. "Please let go."
She pulled away quickly, going to the other side of the room. She hid her face, her heart beating quickly. "Sorry. I'm sorry. I- I just.."
He pulled one leg back in through the window, his chest rising and falling with deep breaths. She would be able to recognize that there was something like panic bubbling on the surface and he was trying to keep it from taking over. "No, it's... it's alright, it's... I'm sorry I-I woke you... go back to sleep," he managed, heading for the door.
