He sat on the edge of the bed and was quiet for a moment. “I love you,” he said after a moment, standing up, his brows furrowed. “And I’m always going to love you, no matter how many times I get too freaked out to be touched by anyone. I will always love you.”
He hesitated before reaching down and brushing her hair back. "You should find someone else," he said quietly, his fingers brushing through her hair. "Someone who doesn't put you through all this."
He was quiet before lying down next to her, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her to his chest.
He looked resigned, shrugging slightly. "You're making a choice to stay with me. The least I could do is try a little harder."
He looked down at her, his brows furrowed. “If I never did anything I’m uncomfortable with, you and I would never have been together in the first place. It’s alright, Tez.”
He didn't return her smile, but his expression softened somewhat. "It's just something I have to figure out," he told her quietly. "Okay?"
He hesitated, his brows furrowing. “It’s just... my logical side isn’t sure anymore, you know?” he said quietly, his hand coming up to cup her jaw. “I used to be able to say that I was being irrational with my fears, and get over it that way.”
"I miss you too," she replied, watching him gently. "We could switch pillows while we sleep," she suggested, half joking. "That way it's like the other person."
