He cast a small calm spell.
Her eyes rolled back in her head, and she fell, unconscious.
He caught her, frowning. "That's not supposed to happen.."
She was limp in his arms.
He kissed her hair. "Eden? Sweetheart?"
She glanced up at him with a mischievous smile.
He groaned. "Jerk."
"I'm a pixie, Sam."
"Argh."
"This is what we do."
"I'm cursed, aren't I? To be fooled for as long as I live?"
"As long as you're with me."
He sighed, shaking his head. "It'll be fine. I won't mind."
"You wouldn't dare."
"It's true. I'm staying anyways."
"Much obliged."
"My pleasure."
"You're staying with me forever."
"I don't mind that."
