He tugged on her newspaper, tilting his head. "I think you're really cute, too."
Her golden eyes flickered up to him and she smiled slightly, pink crossing the bridge of her nose.
He grinned slightly. "Cute."
Her flush deepened, and she cleared her throat. "Stop that..."
He rested his head on his hands. "How come?"
She reached over and ran a soothing hand through his brown hair. "Because it makes me blush."
He leaned into her touch. "I know. It's cute."
“For you.”
"Of course it looks cute to me. You're a cute girl."
She groaned, burying her face in her hand. “Stahp.”
"Hm.. Only because you asked.
"Thank you," she said, looking up at him defiantly, her face a definite pink.
His grin widened, but he said nothing.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
"Like what?"
"Like that with the grin."
"What about it?"
"It's cute. It makes me blush."
"Then it's good!"
"It's not good."
