Ruh Roh (One on One)

She kissed his cheek before sitting down on the grass.

"Okay. Well, look at this."

 

She set her hand in the air and her Enryli spilled out of her hand. After a moment, a cloud began to rise from her fingertips.

"Are you taking any elemental classes right now?"

 

"Have they given you an aptitude test?"

 

"Our Enryli has a specific element it is compatible with. See, mine's compatible with air."

 

"Try it," she suggested, gesturing to his hand.

 

"Well... I don't know the terms for humans. You know that power that builds up in your palm? Build it up and then let it go."

 

She reached out and touched the back of his hand.

"There you go. Like that."

 

"There. Fire."

 

"What?"

 

"Yes. Fire. What about it?"
