"Why are you sorry? You're pleasant to look at too."
"Then why be confused?"
“You seem embarrassed. Do humans not talk about their friends’ appearance?”
"Not me, really.."
“Oh. So I’m just special, then.”
He looked down. "I guess so."
She frowned before crawling over to sit next to him. “You’re acting weird. What’s going on?”
"Nothing," he replied defensively, raising an eyebrow.
She gave him a look. “Sam, I’m, like, your only friend. I know that something’s bothering you.”
"Nothing is bothering me. Don't worry."
She pursed her lips before resting her head on his shoulder. “Fine.”
He glanced at her. "What are you doing?"
She looked up at him, seeming confused. “What do you mean?”
"Your head on my shoulder and how you touch my face.. You only do that when your, like, dating."
She pulled away instantly, her wings flapping in surprise. “What?”
A smirk crossed his face. "The tables have turned, haven't they?"
“God. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me!”
"I just did!"
“But like, before! Why are humans so confusing? You held my hand! That’s not dating?!”
"That was in a different context!"
