They approached that familiar area Rowan had once been to. There were people, as their were last time, and food. The flowers in the treetops bloomed, and a small pond nearby was filled with lotus.
It would be several minutes before he would feel a hand on his arm. He froze instantly and turned his head, his eyes wide. "Heeyyy, handsome," a siren slurred, clearly having had too much to drink. "You wanna dance...?" He shook his head, trying to fight down the panic in his chest as he tried to pull away. Her grip tightened. "I... no, I..."
The siren laughed, stepping forward and touching his chest, her fingers curling in his shirt. "Aw, a shy one, aren't we? That's okay, I like shy ones." His breathing quickened and he shook his head trying to pull away. "Please don't," he managed, trying to pull her hands off. "Please stop."
Tez glanced over, tilting her head before her eyes widened and she hurried over, easily taking the sirens hand and stepping between them. "Elora.. You know how you get when you drink."
Rowan looked at her almost worshipfully, but Elora laughed. "Oh, leave me alone, Tez... I'm busy right now."
She huffed and reached out, tugging on Rowan's hair once before walking away. Rowan was still, his body frozen.
