He took her face in his hands, copying her. His eyes were wide and innocent before he leaned in a gave her a kiss.
Her lips were soft and warm against his and her golden eyes widened as she pulled out of his hands and flew backwards, clearly startled. "What was that?"
"Did you miss that whole part where I said I was joking?!" she asked, floating agitatedly. "Kissing in pixie culture means the exact same thing in human culture!"
He watched her with eyes, before moving around frantically. "I need to get down. How could I be so stupid? How do I get down?" He looked panicked, staring over the edge before his breath quickened. "I need to get home. I.. It's very high. We're very far up."
Her hands went to her head and she seemed slightly panicked. "Of course we're up high; we're in a tree. Just let me take you down."
She seemed annoyed and embarrassed, her hands on her hips. "For God's sake, Sam. You're flustered and you're scared of heights. How, exactly, do you think this climb is going to work?"
He raised his hands to his head, looking overwhelmed. He paced nervously. "D-Don't patronize me, Eden! I can get down myself!"
She caught him before he fell and sighed, brushing his hair out of his face. She took a deep breath before singing lightly. "Erylo de erylo, ma'rye le re, Erylo de meneli, ma so ryli'a. Erylo de erylo ma'rye le re, Edo re'e la nor." Sam's body would levitate and begin to move swiftly back towards the edge of the forest.
She floated next to him as he flew through the air, singing lightly. Eventually, they got to the edge of the forest and Eden set him down gently. She knelt next to him and covered him with her cloak, her song never ceasing. She brushed his hair out of his face and kissed his cheek before flying back into the forest, leaving bluebells in her wake.
