"I don't know. It's a little dangerous for us."

 

"We'll talk about it," he promised, kissing the top of her head.

 

They approached the water, where silver and rosy peach lanterns were reflected across the water. A large buffet table was laid out with cake and food, and sirens and elves alike were beginning to dance.

 

"It's our wedding."

 

"It's something."

 

"Do you want to dance?"

 

He offered his hand to her, one brow raised.

 

He pulled her out to the dance floor as a sweet, slow ballad began to play.

 

He rested a hand on her back as the other couples danced around them.

"How are you feeling?"

 

"Happy," he agreed. "I love you so much, Tez."
