Rowan entered the room, seeming to not meet Tez's gaze. "Lark told me about the treatment," he said bluntly. "She wanted me to let you know that she'd be a little late." He raised an eyebrow. "She seemed like it was very important you knew."
Tez was quiet, before suddenly slipping out of the room. "Uh oh," Miko teased playfully. "I think you hurt her feelings."
Miko shook her head, waving it off. "I think she's just having a rough day. I should have known better than tease her."
He watched after her with a frown. "I kinda snapped at her earlier... maybe I should go check on her."
She shrugged. "Do whatever you feel is best. She's probably going to that cliff that overlooks the ocean. She likes to go there when she's upset, if you are going to check on her."
