She looked back, her brows furrowed. "I'm sorry," she said, her voice quiet and nervous, though she was unsure if he would be able to hear him.
He glanced back at her, seeming very frustrated at this point. "Don't be so dramatic. Tell me the problem so I can fix it."
"You don't need to fight anyone, Rowan. I'm just.. I like someone and they don't like me at all. I think they dislike med actually."
He frowned before slowly coming and sitting next to her. "Maybe they do. Have you talked to them about it?"
"Well, then you'll never know," he said, lying back on the ground. "You'll go through life not knowing how they feel."
He glanced over at her idly, his violet eyes thoughtful. "It's up to you, Tez," he said, his gaze shifting back to the sky. "I just think that life's too short."
She seemed nervous, her hands folded as she watched the clouds. Her breaths were quick, and the next words she said were barely audible. "I like you."
He stiffened for a moment before sitting up quickly, his white hair even more disheveled than usual. He seemed panicked and he looked down off the cliff for a moment before standing up. "I, uh... I gotta go."
He seemed unsure, the most conflicted she would have ever seen him before he sighed and hurried away, pulling his cloak tighter around himself.
