"Making a potion," he replied, pouring in a light blue powder that seemed to sparkle. "Resitstant to heat."
She sighed, her gaze flickering up to his. "Listen," she said gently. "I really want to learn about this potion, but I can't if you won't look at me."
Her gaze brightened. "Don't be sorry," she said with a small shrug. "It's awkward. I mean, you did kiss me out of nowhere. Completely unexpected. Just, bam. Kissed me."
"No, it's fine," she said gently. "I just... I mean, it didn't mean anything, right? So no harm, no foul."
