She laughed, tapping his nose lightly with her ring finger before tapping his lips. "That pickup line doesn't work if I've already used it."
"Yes, but it doesn't work," she said smoothly, adding more chocolate chips. "Especially since you've already got me. You've definitely got me."
She frowned, glancing over at him. "I did a lot more than said," she tried again, her brows furrowed.
She huffed, looking a little annoyed. "There wasn't a lot of talking going on previously," she finally landed on, looking sure that this one would make sense.
Her plan had backfired, as she had now grown a light shade of pink. "I mean... there was not any of the talking last night!"
He blinked before flushing. "Ah.. you mean.." he paused before smirking slightly. "We didn't need to talk. Our actions meant more."
"Yes!" she said, so relieved at having been understood that she didn't even notice the contents of his words. "Because of the kissing!"
