"So, in essence," she explained, turning to write on the chalkboard, "when we attempt to pull down clouds, it's a matter of exchange of energy." Her hair was down today with small daisies tucked into it and it brushed the nape of her neck as she wrote. She wore a simple, white, off-the-shoulder blouse and long, brown trousers and she set down the chalk after finishing the diagram. True to her word, she avoided eye contact with Sam. "In order to make the clouds heavy enough to join us," she finished, gesturing with her hand, "we need to become lighter. Does that make sense?"
One of the other Tyria raised their hands and Eden folded her hands in front of her as she spoke. "Pointsetta?" "So, are we applying Thector's Theory of Mass of Enryli to this, or is it purely the release of energy?" "Good question," Eden replied with a nod, picking up the chalk and circling a part of the figure deftly, glancing over her shoulder at Pointsetta. "So, this is where Thector's Theory would be introduced, but we have a deficit here rather than a surplus, right? So it's purely a release of energy." She set the chalk down gently before craning her head out of the tent to look up at the sky. "It's still overcast, so I think we can start to try it..." She tucked a lock of hair behind her ears distractedly before looking back up at the students. "Unless there are any more questions."
She paused, her golden eyes flickering over to him momentarily before she gave a slight nod. "Very well. Everyone, step outside the tent, if you please..." She led them outdoors and raised her hands, looking up towards the sky. Golden Enryli rooted her to the ground and the lining of a particularly puffy cloud shimmered in gold. She closed her eyes, her brows furrowing before slowly bringing her hands to her side as the shimmering, sparkling cloud lowered itself around them.
It swirled with silver and gold around them, and Eden spoke after a moment, the slight breeze playing with her locks of blonde hair. "It requires concentration and optimism," she told the group, her pink lips curving into a smile. "Which is a strange combination, right? You need to reflect on contentedness."
Her eyes were closed, but there was a small smile on her face. Her cheeks were slightly rosy from the chill of the early spring breeze, and her wings were moving with the wind, as if moving through water. Her Enryli was swirling through the veins in her wings, sparkling and casting images into the clouds. “Understand? It’s a happiness thing. Think of the lightest moment in your life and utilize it.”
