She leaned back against the pillows, looking up at him with a small smile, still holding his hand. "Go to class, Sam. I'll be here when you get back."
She raised an eyebrow, tucking her hair behind her ear with her free hand. "Skip a class? You wouldn't do that."
She considered him, tracing his knuckles with her pointer. "You'll feel bad if you skip," she said after a moment, kissing the back of his hand regretfully. "Go today. I won't do anything interesting while you're gone."
She laughed, running her fingers through his hair and rubbing the back of his neck. "What are you doing?"
