He paused before wrapping his arms and legs around her.
She laughed warmly. "Yesss. Perfect."
"Koala mode."
She hugged him, burying her face in his shoulder. "It's perfect."
He kissed the tip of her nose, yawning tiredly.
Her thumb brushed his cheek. "Mind releasing? I have to grab something."
He sighed, letting go reluctantly.
She got up, grabbing a pillow and promptly throwing it at him.
He yelped, falling back. "Ow, *squee!*! My eye!"
She blinked, seeming genuinely concerned. "Rowan?"
"The pillow scratched my cornea, I think!"
She went to him, her brows furrowed as she moved the pillow to check.
He was blinking rapidly before bringing the pillow down on her head.
She fell back. "Gah!"
He tackled her, kissing her quickly. "Fool. Your affection has made you soft."
"I was worried! You.. You nut!"
"Foiled again."
She huffed. "Well is your eye okay?"
"It's perfectly fine."
She stuck her tongue at him.
