Ruh Roh (One on One)

She looked around for a moment before taking his hand and pulling him around a corner into an alleyway.

 

She checked to make sure they were out of sight before kissing him deeply, her hand on his face.

 

She pulled back after a moment, her fingers curled in his shirt as she considered him, a sweet smile on her face.

 

"I love you," she said simply with a shrug, her eyes flickering back to their usual dark gold. She held out a hand and concentrated, and golden Enryli swirled in the palm of her hand, gradually taking a shape.

 

Slowly, covered in beautiful, delicate golden vines, a small, cream lantern formed in the palm of her hand.

 

She looked over at him.

"Why don't you make one yourself?"

 

She watched patiently, cupping her lantern in her hand.

 

She grinned, kissing his cheek.

"Ready to go?"

 

Her eyes faded to brown again and she looked up at the sunset for a while before taking his hand.

"Come on."
